That Bess is a real beauty! The one pictured is, I am sure, a good quality repro - you'd have to save long & hard for an original Bess with such an early date & then have to find one. A.Roads

Two nice things about carbines: 1) They're easy to move when you buy a new house. 2) A dozen carbines just doesn't look as bad as a dozen rifles. The wife might not notice
